Q: How do you feel about the cinema industry in Iran? What do you like? What don’t you
like?
A: I would like to see it improve, to reach a new golden age of cinema.

Q: What type of characters do you enjoy playing?
A: I think you have to play each character to the best of your ability. Even if it’s a character who
you might have nothing in common with, you must care for that character in order to bring out
its truth. I have a love for all the characters I have played.

Q: What’s your favorite movie?

A: I can’t say – Different films have different experience for you. It’s a shame to mention one
film, and leave out all the other wonderful films that have been made. But “Original Sin” had a
deep effect on me. I enjoy films with a creative screenplay.

Q: W: Do you also enjoy watching sports?
A: No, no. I don’t follow any teams or players. I’ll watch world events because of the feeling it
brings up in people. But that’s about it.

Q: Any other hobbies?
A: Many of my hobbies are work related. I design clothing; I’ve manufactured clothing for many
years now. It can be a hobby and work at the same time. But I try to use most of my free time
to travel. Anytime I can, I make plans to travel.

Q: Since you like to travel, what would be your dream vacation?
A: I’d really like to see Tibet and the Himalayas, and Eastern Europe. I haven’t experienced
these places yet.

Q: Where have you traveled to?
A: America, Europe, England, Turkey, countries in the region, India. India was spectacular and
I had to go back a couple of times. I like to see new places, new cultures.

Q: Where in India did you go?
A: First I went to Bombay. I was shocked at its state of chaos and wanted to return home on
the next flight back, but when I went further into town, away from the outskirts of the airport, it
got better. Then I went to the south. It’s lovely.

Q: Okay, then what’s your favorite flavor ice-cream?
A: Caramel, coffee, and chocolate.

Alish has joined us from Tehran. The purpose of sending her photo she writes in her email that she just wants to wish Happy Eid Day to all Muslims. She tells a little about eid moon sighting time that the Shawal moon announces the arrival of Eid-ul-Fitar. It is the end of Ramazan, the holy month of fasting. The next morning, the Muslims assemble in a great thanks-giving congregation. They thank the merciful Allah for giving them the opportunity and strength to observe the sacred fasts. They ask Him to forgive them for their weaknesses and sins. They reaffirm their vow of faithfulness to Allah.
Alish more tells that the evening when the moon is expected to appear is a memorable evening. As the sun goes down, the faithful break their fast and offer the Nimaz-e-Maghrib. They rush to the roofs of their houses and join the search for the Shawal moon. They turn their eyes towards the western horizon. On every housetop there are scores of people, all scanning the sky with keen, expectant eyes. After the Shawal moon is sighted, people raise their hands in prayers. Children are particularly fond and excited about seeing the Eid Moon. As they sight it, their faces usually light up with joy. Dinner is eaten in a joyous mood and plans for the next days are made. What would everyone wear and what will be the menu for the food. Many people hit the roads to go to their loved ones if they live in another city.

After reading very nice and encouraging comments from our wonderful readers, Maheen has sent this photo as a thank you to all you who liked her. As you know that Maheen loves to travel, so the next place she has selected for visit are Alborz Mountains. Alborz Mountains stretch along the northern border of Iran and the Caspian Sea, with Tehran nestling on their southern central slopes. As well as the country’s highest peak (Damavand, 5604 metres), there are several popular ski resorts here, including Dizin, Shemshak, Tochal and Darbandsar. Maheen says that there is a marvelous nature in Alborz Mountains that you can find in nowhere. Some people believe descriptions of paradise in Quran are about north of Iran.

Tabassom Zari is beautiful Iranian girl currently settled in New Zealand. Tabassom tells that she was settled in New Zealand five years ago with her complete family. After the completion of her post graduation Tabassom start her profession as a travel guide. And today she is going to tell about New Zealand. Tabassom says that New Zealand is becoming more and more popular as a tourist destination during the northern hemisphere winter so the summers in New Zealand are becoming more populated. If you really want to stay anywhere, when ever you want you will find 1st May until the end of September quiet, with great deals for accommodation, vehicles, and activities. The middle of this period is New Zealand’s winter with the ski areas around New Zealand open for business.

Tabassom more tells New Zealand is a geographically breathtaking country with glacier carved mountains, lakes, beaches, thermal springs, sub tropical pools etc., and where you can enjoy everything from skiing to surfing, from fishing to mountain climbing.

This photo is of Fariba (standing right) and Negarin belong to historical city Qom and study in Islamic Azad University of Qom. Fariba tells about Qom city that by the establishment of Qom’s Hawzah, most of the theologians came to Qom and made it the center for Islamic studies. However, after the victory of Iran’s revolution, Qom’s Hawzah made a fresh start to attract thousands of enthusiastic students from all around the world. Today, Qom is counted as one of the focal centers of the Shi’a both in Iran and around the globe. Its theological center and the Fatima al-Masumeh Shrine are prominent features of the provincial capital of Qom province. Another religious site of pilgrimage is outside the city of Qom and is called Jamkaran.

These include natural sights like hot deserts in central and eastern regions of Iran, huge mountains of Zagros in the west, glorious Damavand Peak in the north, unique Alisadr water cave in the North of Hamedan, and Hara marine forests that is located on and near the island of Qeshm in the Persian Gulf, or historical heritages like eye-catching museums of Sad-Abad in Tehran, Islamic architecture in famous mosques of Esfahan, Old bazaar of Tabriz, Masouleh, an old village which is well-known for its rural and spectacular architecture, and hundreds of other places, that attract thousands of visitors each year.

Abeer Shiraz is our most intelligent friend from Tehran. This is second year of her studies in UK. Friends the most appreciating thing about her is that she is going to become a Heart Surgeon. Abeer wants to tell a little about heart surgery that heart bypass surgery is performed to create a new route (termed a “bypass”) for the flow of oxygen and blood to the heart. It is performed when coronary artery disease partially or totally blocks the arteries – the small blood vessels that supply the heart with nutrients and oxygen, which lead to the heart. When coronary arteries become blocked the heart cannot obtain sufficient blood, a condition which is termed coronary artery disease, and which can cause severe chest pain (termed angina). Some coronary artery disease can be treated with medicines alone; but severe cases require coronary artery bypass surgery.

If you are facing upcoming heart surgery or have just come out of heart surgery, you are obviously going to go through a substantial recovery period. One important consideration during your recovery period is your diet. Of course, this will involve plenty of rest, living a reduced-stress life, and taking your medication.
